The BJJ Resource Guide

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most intricate and complicated fighting styles in the world. Due to the thousands of possible moves available learn and many intricacies, unlimited resources have been made to help the BJJ community master the system. This is a quick guide to some resources I have personally found helpful the last few years when developing my game in BJJ.

1. Youtube – This might be obvious but there is a multitude of information on this website about pretty much every position in BJJ. I would personally recommend Jason Scully’s channel on youtube, he has really eye opening videos. Submissions 101 channel also has almost 600 top notch technique videos to learn from.

2. Jiu- Jitsu Magazine – There are only a handful of BJJ magazines currently out there right now, and my favorite by far is Jiu-Jitsu Magazine. This magazine not only has detailed instructional guides to different techniques, but they also have nutritional advice, workouts, interviews with BJJ legends and product reviews, they are the real deal.

3. Budo Videos – This website is one of the biggest BJJ resources on the internet. They have video of all of the latest professional matches from tournaments around the world, weekly podcasts, and multiple instructional videos. They also have many books, dvd sets, and products for sale.
